Purpose and Objectives

Today customers are connected, informed and always on. They demand high-quality individualized products and delivery within shorter timeframes. To meet these market requirements, customers need to synchronize their demand chain with their supply chain. SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud is a strategic part of SAP Industry 4.0 solution. It is a powerful, enterprise-level, scalable, manufacturing business solution that enables global manufacturers to manage and control manufacturing and shop floor operations. It provides a multi-faceted set of features that integrates business systems to the shop floor, helping our customers in digital transformation of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.

We are seeking talents to join Digital Manufacturing team in SAP Labs China. The team is work on the innovation of product SAP Digital Manufacturing, with technology of cloud and edge computing, industrial automation, Industrial IoT, etc.

Expectations & Tasks

• Designing, coding, testing, and quality assurance of complex product features within our Customer Experience & Service portfolio with latest technologies in an innovative environment

• Solid software development and architectural skills with a passion to build quality applications

• Work in a Lean development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently and be flexible to cater to demand

• Ability to quickly ramp up on new technology

• Work in close cooperation with other development areas

• Have a can-do attitude

• Good team player

Education and Qualifications Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related fields

• Graduated in 2023, or will graduate in 2024

• Expertise in any one or more programming languages (Java, TypeScript, …)

• Experience working with Git and CI/CD

• Experience in developing, debugging and deploying software

• Experience in Cloud Development is a plus

• Strong knowledge in Object oriented concepts

• Self-driven and motivated to create something exceptional together

• Good problem-solving skills, ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
