PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES for THE ROLE AND PRODUCT

As part of the Board Area Products Engineering the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) development team builds solutions that help our customers to streamline existing Regulation and Compliance processes, address regulatory requirements and reduce risk during their digital transformation. Build the total risk management system for a company.

We have the development teams in Walldorf, Shanghai and Palo Alto. Our team offers a dynamic, international environment with opportunities for continuous learning and career development. We lead the end to end innovation cycle of enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance solution development to deliver solution for all SAP worldwide customers on Risk Management, Internal Control Framework and Lifecycle, Enterprise Compliance, Policy Management and etc. eGRC solution targets to help enterprise setup the intelligent Governance environment. As part of Finance, we support end users from CFO office and CEO office to optimize the business process, setup control, ensure compliance, and manage risk in an efficient and effectiveness way. Our products are based on analytics and new technologies to help customers making optimal decisions by proactively balancing risks and opportunities. Our development is based on hybrid platforms, including SaaS in SAP Cloud Platform and ABAP stack. Design Thinking and User Experience are embedded into our design. We have close contact with word famous customers within our development, many of them are in Global 500.

For these teams, we seek to fill multiple positions for developers.

ROLE

As developer you will join a team working in the  enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance area. Your responsibility will cover all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle at SAP, including the overall responsibility for your code through design, implementation, test, maintenance and operations.

Depending on your level of experience you will contribute to efforts around the technical implementation, security issues, agile development techniques and implement the predefined requirements of the new solution. You are the team player and the contribution of the requirements refinements is also expected. With the collaborate with other customers, end-users and other development teams, this is a must to bring the solution forward.

You need to be comfortable to work in a (new) dynamic environment, guide with your expertise, establish standards in your team, share your knowledge, motivate other team members, build consensus, while being open to new ideas and approaches at the same time.

Requirements

  • 0~3 years work and development experience in an international environment / team set-upDegree (Bachelor, Master, PhD) in information technology, computer or natural science, engineering or equivalent subject
  • Programming skills in ABAP / HANA / Java / JavaScript / HTML5, hands on experience with common frameworks like Spring,background / knowledge around compliance risk and process 
  • Experiences in SAP Application Development,ASE techniques, experience with test-driven development, unit tests, continuous integration & delivery, committer/contributor model and pair programming, knowledge in using GIT Hub
  • Experience on SCRUM and LEAN development model,excellent comprehension, willingness and ability to learn new subject matters quickly,intercultural co-operation and passion for innovation. Eager to understand business process background
  • Experience with IT Security Risk  and be familiar with SAP Cloud Platform will be a plus,knowledge of Quality Processes and Standards at SAP,network, internet technologies and distributed systems
  • Readiness to analyze issues on multiple layers ranging from applications, services to operating system level in the code and at runtime
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills,fluent Chinese and English - verbal and written
