Technology Senior Consultant

Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

• This role is involved in strategic customer engagements, with complex architecture and critical delivery components in order to safeguard customer investment and help deliver optimal outcomes.​
• Integral member of project delivery teams, working with customers and partners to identify architectural gaps and ensure consistent successful deliverables throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• During implementations, execute quality checks and ensure adherence to outcomes, best practices and architectural standards, and that there are no solution gaps prior to deployment.
• Work closely with customer teams to realize additional value from their investments by providing advice and support on their adoption journeys
• Educate customer on SAP Procurement solution enhancements and deployment impacts based on long-term solution & product roadmap.
• Work with customers to identify opportunities for optimization and recommend leading practice.
• Works closely with the Presales and Services Sales teams to provide guidance and support to ensure high quality solutioning and architecture for customers
• Provide content support for statement of work scoping and resource estimation.
• Ensure quality handovers between sales and delivery teams by participating in sales to delivery calls
• Works closely with the regional Services Excellence teams for practice development, upskilling and continuous improvement.
• Works closely with Customer Engagement teams to ensure a consistent customer experience is realized, solution adoption is enhanced, and smooth post go-live transitions occur.
• Engages with customer escalations to ensure that all SAP teams (Customer Engagement, MCC, Support, and Max Attention, Regional Delivery Leads) have access to the required expertise to resolve critical situations.
• Works collaboratively with other services lines within Procurement Services to ensure there is seamless interaction between SAP Procurement Delivery teams
• Up to 80% expected travel.
• Preferred location is Shenzhen, China.  Could be other Cities within Mainland China.

• 7+ years experience deploying SAP Procurement Solutions
• Strong understanding of SAP Services operations and business metrics.
• Deep functional knowledge of full suite of SAP Ariba, SAP Ariba Network, SAP Fieldglass, or S/4 Procurement applications, and of the related Procurement processes
• Foundational technical knowledge of SAP Procurement applications and the respective integration standards.
• Strong understanding of ERP backend (S/4 HANA, ECC, Oracle etc.) integration strategies
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA Central Procurement solutions.
• Demonstrated experience and success working strategically and collaboratively with cross functional teams in matrixed environments.
• Familiar with the full portfolio of SAP Procurement Services offerings and the various SAP offerings in tangent.
• Strong ability to accurately solution SAP Procurement applications including pre-sales scoping, gap identification, blueprinting and design reviews.

Education

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Data Science, Project Management, or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management a plus.
