Marketing and Solutions (M&S) Field Marketing Business Partner (BP) Lead – APJ & GC

The M&S Operations Business Partner (BP) orchestrates the delivery of operational services across Business Planning, Budget Management, Performance Management and Insights, and organizational effectiveness to the Heads of Marketing for both APJ and GC.  They work with specific operations practice areas to support development and deployment of operational services, processes and systems needed for efficient and effective management of businesses across the M&S Board area. The main goal is to maintain smooth operational excellence and organizational agility across Field Marketing, the Chief Marketing and Solution Officers (CMSOs) and the Global Demand Center. They do this by using formalized best practices, processes, infrastructure, tools, technology, reporting, and analytical frameworks.


The APJ/GC Field Marketing BP Lead will be responsible for orchestrating operations resources (practice areas) back into Field Marketing; providing support in the planning and budgeting process (including forecasting), driving innovative data driven customer insights, monitoring performance against KPI methodology as well as ensuring that systems, processes, and tools are in place to optimize execution monitor ongoing progress, and measure program and campaign results.   


More specifically, the APJ/GC Field Marketing BP Lead will perform the following tasks:

  • Contribute to region’s marketing strategy and planning to establish and manage plans and initiatives aligned with the M&S strategy across the regions.
  • Advance the development and practice of a digitally native customer insights practice.
  • Oversee financial forecasting process with controlling and the Budget Management practice, and drive weekly spend management process and transparency
  • Develop and give guidance to teams in achieving overall excellence
  • Manage the development and documentation of workflow processes within the region
  • Oversee the requirements management process for use of technology and tools
  • Support and oversee innovation initiatives to drive best practices
  • Leverage deliverables from teams performing analytics and predictive modeling

As the Field Marketing Business Partner (BP) Lead, you will be working with extended team members that may, or may not, be a part of the oCOO area.  As BP Lead for the region, you are responsible for supporting the success of all employees within the larger team you are a part by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. Look for opportunities to coach and recognize employees directly and provide just-in-time feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately.

Experience & Language Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of marketing operations experience (Business Planning, Budget Management, Performance Management and Insights, Organizational effectiveness)
  • Senior leadership in a marketing, solution management and or sales operation’s function, preferably in a regional and/or global organization
  • Marketing strategy development and planning
  • Project leadership (large-scale projects)


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • MBA/Master's degree or equivalent preferred
