Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Responsible for translating the APJ ISBN business objectives, market opportunities and portfolio of offerings into a cohesive, go-to-market marketing strategy. Collaborate and drive marketing plan and programs across the customer lifecycle, portfolio, segment, and channel. Orchestrate scaled execution and innovation in defined areas of excellence (example Channels, Experience, Content and Customer Marketing) to power a consistent and seamless customer experience and to increase business outcomes, efficiency and velocity. Attract the attention of new buyers and influencers, build demand, influence existing pipeline and drive adoption. Strong partnership with business stakeholders, Chief Marketing and Solution Officer, Corp Marketing and MU Field Marketing teams to bring to fruition the marketing results and to share practices and improvements within both the business and marketing community.

  • Understanding of regional market dynamics, competitors, and adaptation requirements
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio offering, buyer and value proposition
  • Business acumen, customer buying journey mindset, and outcome driven orientation 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate clear field requirements
  • Ability to lead via influence and guide marketing plan develop in collaboration with virtual Market Unit LoB team
  • Ability to analyze funnel health performance data and derive insights to inform optimization and planning decisions

 

Typical responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Participate as core member of “Integrated Marketing ONE Plan” planning team and member of extended product marketing leadership team. Represent regional marketing strategy, plans, program elements and performance insights.
  • Monitor plan performance, derive insights and influence Market Unit Specialists to adopt a cohesive marketing strategy, including the adoption of common program elements, best practices, marketing mix, budget and plan optimization recommendations, aligned to the priority growth areas.
  • Lead the development of an integrated LoB regional marketing plan across the holistic customer journey
  • Meet monthly with regional LoB Customer Success sales leadership.  Represent marketing in forecast calls, one pipeline health checks, demand management meetings and QBRs
  • Lead 1H / 2H planning cycles and quarterly plan refinements with Market Units and work with CMSO, IDP GM and IMP on digital/physical elements
  • Work with relevant corporate marketing team on campaign readiness, adaptation requirements, and in market performance. Partner with relevant corporate marketing team to understand campaign elements, localization and in-market dates. Communicate to Market Units and monitor performance
  • Evaluate and monitor funnel health, plan performance and work across Market Units and relevant corporate marketing team to optimize performance 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of marketing experience
  • Working in a multi-national company
  • Experience in B2B marketing and high-tech marketing
  • Experience working with sales / business leader and teams
  • Project management and leadership (medium to large-scaled projects)
  • Fluent English and any other language are a bonus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
