PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

The SAP Ariba team is looking for talented people to join their Global Business Development team. The Business Development team has the responsibility to develop and support the execution of the Go-to-Market strategy, launch new products, build sales assets, drive demand generation and support the sales cycle through thought leadership.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

As a member of this team, you will work closely with the regional and global Go-to-Market teams:

  • Support various projects and activities across the Asia Pacific region, but also globally
  • Conduct account and territory analysis, prepare various reports to support the execution of the GTM strategy
  • Work on demand generation and demand management activities, incl. supporting the preparation of internal and customer events
  • Work with the cross functional team in the Ariba organization
  • Identify opportunities for more efficiency and automation in the sales process.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

  • You are currently studying, or recently completed an information technology / information systems / business management or related degree.
  • You are strong in self-organization
  • You are able to work in a multi-cultural team
  • You have excellent communication skills: oral, written, and in presentations; as well as the ability to fluently communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • You have good analytical skills
  • You are very familiar in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
