What you`ll do:
At CLM AM Apps and Analytics Team, our mission is to support the fast-growing SAP cloud, with a large set of (customer-facing) cloud-based applications and analytical content. To strengthen our team further and accommodate SAP’s growth in the cloud, we are looking for a (Junior) Developer to join our Team.
As a (Junior) Developer within the CLM AM Apps and Analytics Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy. You will work with the latest technology towards reporting & data analysis. You will be handling the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.
The Role:
In your role as (Junior) Developer, you will work closely with international colleagues together on development projects with the following activities:
- Design appealing and sustainable solutions for analytical purposes.
- Optimize and simplify existing reports and code. Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations.
- Data ingestion and data management.
- Master the “full stack” from UI over backend to database.
- Dig into SAP´s cloud business and collaborate closely with stakeholder from SAP´s cloud business.
What you bring:
- 2+ years of programming experience
- Fundamental knowledge in object-oriented Programming is a must. Basic knowledge of design patterns. ABAP is a plus.
- Well-founded knowledge of SQL / database development is a must. This includes analysis & optimization of DB queries.
- Knowledge of fundamental web technologies, like OData, http, SOAP, XML, REST is a plus.
- Experience in test-driven development as well as model-driven development
- Basic knowledge of system configuration and administration
- Strong open-minded communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management and end-user support
- Language: English fluent is must
