The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1700 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. Most recently, SAP Labs Bulgaria expanded in the topics of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. What you'll do:

• Developing and enhancing core mobile frameworks for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), with a focus on UI and security.
• Implementing and optimizing security features for mobile applications, ensuring high protection and performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build mobile solutions that support both SAP application teams and customers.
• Contributing to creating a secure, user-friendly platform that meets the business-critical needs of SAP.
• Playing a pivotal role in shaping the mobile security landscape within SAP.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Android application development and other development areas, such as iOS, or HTML5, is a plus
• Experience in Kotlin (including Coroutines and Flows) and Java with experience in Android Native development. As well with knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Android UI design principles.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Expertise in networking, persistence, multithreading, and performance optimization for Android applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, unit testing, mobile automation testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to tackle complex UI challenges, offering innovative and effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating ideas and collaborating with team members.
• Self-motivated and passionate about creating engaging and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Familiarity with developing mobile-accessible applications.
