What you`ll do:

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is SAP’s multi-cloud PaaS offering and the technological foundation of SAP cloud products. Thousands of customers are running critical business applications on it. Keeping our customers’ data secure and managing it in accordance with laws and regulations and mitigating cybersecurity risks is of highest importance.  

As a Cloud Software Engineer you will implement, design and operate tools and services that make DevSecOps for platform developers more efficient. The projects range from automating the collection and presentation of compliance information for external audits and regulations, assessment of vulnerabilities, reporting of security KPIs to security monitoring to penetration tests.  

You will benefit from SAPs experience in professional software development using the latest software engineering techniques and technologies, e.g. K8s, Cloud Foundry, Gardener, GitHub. 

What you bring:

• Good degree in computer science or related fields 

• Working experience in agile development teams, architecture modelling, designing and implementing software in one or more of the following languages: Go, Java, TypeScript, Python 

• Knowledge of or interest in security services and cybersecurity topics 

• Fluent English language skills – verbal and written
