The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. What you’ll do

Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud provider infrastructures. With a strong focus on reusability across the HANA Database & Analytics portfolio, we are fulfilling our responsibility to provide an enterprise-ready unified data and semantics layer that ultimately enables our customers to build mission-critical, scalable, and reliable applications on top of our services.
As a Developer you will join an agile team and share with them responsibility for managing and provisioning our service infrastructure. You will help automate landscape deployment on various hyperscalers and improve the availability, scalability, and reliability of our services. Our teams are empowered and self-organizing. You will participate in the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution. You may have to respond to incidents and their root cause analysis.

What you bring     

Degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics or related areas

•    2,5+ years of related professional experience


•    Knowledge and interest in container management (Docker, Kubernetes), credential management (Vault, Kubernetes secrets) and identity and access management (UAM, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication)


•    Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python and/or GO


•    Strong interest and experience with cloud-native software development and operation


•    Very good language skills in English


We are looking for a team player with extraordinary soft skills. Experience with the cloud offerings of the major hyperscalers and their cloud infrastructure managed with Terraform would be a plus.
