The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you`ll do:

Summary: We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled Software Developer with ABAP to join our Sustainability Engineering SAP S/4HANA Product Compliance team. The SAP S/4HANA for product compliance solution supports our customers with activities in producing, transporting, buying, and selling products to ensure that these products are clean and compliant with worldwide regulations. It helps companies organize and automate product-related processes, implement controls through the product lifecycle, streamline communication, and accelerate product time to market.

The Role: As a seasoned Software Developer, you will have a leading role in all phases of software development and continuous delivery – researching, prototyping, design, architecture, implementation, testing. With ensuring reliable, performant and secure services delivered in consistent manner with accelerated and harmonized AI product development you will be in the core realization of SAP product strategy to lead with Suite-First and AI-First.

You will collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside of your team and as well with customers and partners, mentor junior developers and help them improve their technical skills.

What you bring:

• Solid background with ABAP and object-oriented programming. (5+ years)
• Excellent knowledge in Software design Patterns and Software Engineering
• Hand-on experience with SAP Fiori, ABAP Core Data Services (CDS)
• Strong analytical skills, ability to decompose large features, perform pragmatic planning, execute iteratively
• Concise and clear communication style conveying ideas to fellow developers, customers, partners
• High professional accuracy and autonomy in task execution
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Fluent Business English
