The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. What you`ll do:

On our mission to improve developer experience at SAP, we are looking for somebody like you. We are creating a new Scrum Team in Sofia, Bulgaria, that will join us to develop the “Hyperspace Portal”, the new entry point for 50.000 product developers at SAP. 

As a developer, you will be part of a small co-located and cross-functional scrum team, consisting of a product owner, scrum master and further developers. The team will also be supported by experts worldwide, like product managers, UX designers and other scrum teams.

• You will design and implement components of the Hyperspace Portal and be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle – from idea generation over development to operations and support (with a focus on development).
• You will support your product owner in defining concepts, doing technical evaluations or providing effort estimations. 
• You will collaborate with a fun, supportive and talented team.
• We take our products seriously, but we do not take ourselves too seriously.
• We are always striving to improve. We are a unit that loves to learn and get better at what we do.
• You are also entitled to participate in our unit-wide research initiative that reserves up to 10% of our time for research & innovation.

What you bring:

We don't expect that you know everything already – you’ll get the time to learn and we’ll help you with that.

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification 
• 2-5 years of experience working as a Software Developer 
• Proven programming skills in either JavaScript/TypeScript or Go
• Team player with clear written and spoken communication 
• Quality mindset and the ability to follow quality standards
• Experience in Angular or Kubernetes is beneficial
• Experience in Scrum or SAFe is beneficial[HD1]  
• Very good English, written and spoken 

It is fine if your experience is either in the front-end or back-end and a specialization on one layer is possible in our team, but you should be willing to work full stack when needed.
