IT Technology Services Specialist - Project Management Office

We are seeking a IT Technology Services Specialist  to join our team as a PMO (Project Management Office) within the M&A IT Team.

In this role you will report directly to the Head of M&A COE IT EMEA. This role involves supporting programs and initiatives as a Junior Project Manager or in a PMO support capacity for SAP-related Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Carve-outs, and Joint Ventures.

Key responsibilities include managing program activities such as status reporting, risk management, and handling small individual projects like to support authorization management or cutover/testing management.

The role also includes planning and tracking project timelines, collaborating with scrum teams, and facilitating agile events. Additionally, it supports the orchestration of project delivery and ensures smooth communication between business stakeholders and delivery teams. There's also a focus on evolving program governance and building an internal knowledge platform.

Expectations & Tasks

The IT Technology Services Specialist  will support our M&A IT team in managing the following tasks – within the following SAP-related Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, Carve-outs, and Joint Ventures – Projects:

• Support our programs and initiatives the Program Office in Junior Project Manager or Program Management Office Support roles
• Taking over responsibility for program management activities such as program status reporting or risk management
• Plan, track, and schedule project timelines, meetings and milestones using appropriate tools
• Manage individual small projects like authorization management, cut-over management, test management, data management or continuous improvement initiatives
• Work with the scrum master and product teams to prepare agile events like sprint review meetings
• Support the orchestration of delivery, value flow and collaboration projects, including alignments with business stakeholders and delivery teams & become part of our scaled Agile / Scrum Team
• Organization, moderation, and follow up of meetings and workshops
• Encourage collaboration and communication between teams to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
• Support evolving our program governance, M&A processes, methods, templates, tools and stakeholder communication and build internal knowledge platform by creating or updating documentation and standards

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required Skills:

• Master or Diploma university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
• +3 years of Professional Experience, ideally in IT / IT Consulting
• +3 years proven track record in IT projects accomplished, demonstrated business acumen
• +3 years experience in IT Application Consulting, focus on SAP technology
• Excellent change, communication and presentation skills with a proven track record
• Experience & interest in agile methodologies, ideally in Scrum or SAFe
• Experience & interest in IT project management, knowledge of SAP products & methodologies
• Languages English (required), German is a plus
• Ability to drive customer focus, business acumen and innovation
• Ability to coach and motivate teams, act as a role model to develop yourself and others with regards to lean-agile procedures/mindsets while maintaining high quality and result

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Up to 3 years of previous professional work experience in a corporate setting, ideally in a corporate IT function or IT Consulting
• Up to 3 years of previous professional work experience in IT project management or IT application consulting, with focus on SAP Technology
• Previous work experience or knowledge of SAP Solutions or SAP Technology
• Experience in analyze complex business processes and solutions
