YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced M&A IT Program Manager to secure the success of the planning and execution of SAP’s M&A transactions, including post-merger integrations and carve-outs.


The Role:

Reporting to the Head of M&A Compliance IT EMEA, the M&A IT Program Manager will act as trusted senior program manager and focus on securing the success of SAP M&A IT programs & solutions:

 

  • Manage initiatives in the area of M&A IT strategy and execution for SAP CPIT (Corporate Process and Information Technology)  in the role of a senior M&A IT Program Manager. This includes creation and consolidation of regular status reporting, coordination of stakeholders, communication, resource management and staffing, and the creation & orchestration of project and program timelines and cut over plans.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and mentor to ensure the successful execution of IT post-merger integration projects and programs to integrate business processes and applications of acquired companies into SAP’s IT application landscape as well as the support of divestiture initiatives.
  • Foster continuous improvements in evaluation, planning and execution of M&A projects, including the evolution of related teams, processes and technologies
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across the related executive leadership board areas as well as on operational teams level
  • Execute and support of key strategic initiatives with focus on M&A IT and technology enhancements
  • Support decision-making processes for the senior management, implementation and communication of resolution including coordination of board related presentation
  • Orchestrate delivery, value flow and collaboration in classical or agile projects, including alignments with business stakeholders, architecture and internal as well as external delivery teams
  • Align execution and release plans across programs, Agile Release Trains and Product Teams through agreed-upon program increment objectives
  • Encourage collaboration between teams to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Support evolving our governance, including standards, processes and tools in e.g. organization, risk/continuity, quality, project management, change, trainings, KPI and measurement areas as well as key stakeholder communications


YOUR PROFILE 

  • We are looking for a highly professional team player with excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills and a steady ambition in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • 5+ years of proven track record in leading M&A IT projects, IT projects or strategic/transformation projects
  • 5+ years of applied excellent knowledge of SAP technology and business processes with a strong customer/value focus
  • Very high proficiency in M&A transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and carve-outs
  • Very strong IT project management skills, any Project Management certification is a plus.
  • High affinity and ideally practical work experience and certified in scaled agile delivery
  • Very strong affinity to drive change through technology and engage in global  diverse teams, combined with a high sense of responsibility in task delivery and result orientation
  • Master’s degree in computer engineering, business administration or similar degree in a relevant field of expertise
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English in speaking and writing as well as excellent teamwork skills
