The development center of SAP in Bulgaria is technology-focused and plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1350 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions towards life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products. What you’ll do


Our new colleague will be Development Manager and lead the Industry 4.Now (IoT) lifecycle management team in Sofia (Bulgaria). The main goal is to develop essential lifecycle management features for the Internet of Things (IoT) edge area. This includes for example to ensure software provisioning on the IoT edge via container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes).

What you bring     


  • 4+ years of experience of leading software development teams
  • Knowledge in product or project management
  • Good computer science skills
  • Good knowledge of container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge concerning lean and agile software development
  • Excellent team player skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

The Landscape Orchestration team’s main goal is to make SAP solutions run best in the cloud and on-premise world. We develop software products for running and managing SAP solutions in different environments, like for example Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Internet of Things Edge environments. Our products are sold to external customers and are used SAP internally. The team’s software development locations are Sofia (Bulgaria), Walldorf (Germany) and Palo Alto (USA). The landscape management team is part of the larger Cloud and Lifecycle Management organization in the Technology & Innovation board area.
