The development center of SAP in Bulgaria is technology-focused and plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you`ll do

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to develop and operate highly reliable, available, and performance services part of SAP CI/CD platform. This platform enables SAP cloud development teams to deliver customer value continuously, faster, and more reliably than ever before. It aims at delighting developers and DevOps teams by reducing cognitive load, freeing up time and resources and focusing on delivering more value to SAP's customers.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will:

• Take part in development and maintenance of configuration management for the whole infrastructure
• Support the deployment, scaling and management of containerized applications
• Plan and execute service maintenance to comply with SAP security standards
• Assist with implementation and service monitoring maintenance
• Ensure system resilience, high availability, and optimize system performance

• Collaborate with and consult SAP development teams
• Demonstrate full responsibility for assigned tasks and deliver good level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency

What you bring

• Experience and/or good knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Good knowledge of Python or any other programming or scripting languages
• Customer service focus
• Excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven
• Very good English language skills

Preferred but not essential skills:

• Basic experience with CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitHub or GitLab)
• General knowledge of Monitoring tools (ELK, Splunk)
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
