The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you`ll do:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to join our team and support the development of our localization and language features within SAP`s User Assistance infrastructure. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our localization & language features are delivered with high-quality specifications and documentation that meet customer and user requirements. The Role:
Product Vision and Roadmap
As Product Management Senior Specialist, together with the technical experts, you will support building the product roadmap and corresponding usage plan for localization and language features in SAP’s User Assistance infrastructure. You will contribute to the localization and language vision and the roadmap. Also, you will ensure alignment of the localization and language features with our overall infrastructure and tools strategy.
Product Delivery and Quality Assurance
Together with the architects of our infrastructure, you ensure the delivery of high-quality specifications in accordance with customer and user requirements, and you prioritize and describe the product backlog ensuring clarity and feasibility.
Also, you document new features/procedures in the SAP User Guide. You validate the planned and implemented scope across the entire product lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery, and you execute expert tests to verify feature quality and functionality.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
You ensure timely communication to all target audiences, using the appropriate communication assets and seek support from our internal community engagement team if necessary. You work in close collaboration with other teams within User Assistance Content, Services, and Infrastructure (UA CSI) team and external teams, such as Language Experience Lab. You coordinate the gathering and integration of feedback from different stakeholders as well as facilitating active engagement with stakeholders (for example in internal stakeholder meetings) to ensure the product meets their needs and expectations.
Process Improvement
As Product Management Senior Specialist for Automated Translation/Localization Processes, you will contribute towards process efficiency and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement in our practices.
What you bring:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Translation & Localization knowledge, Technical Writing skills or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
· Proven experience in product management and/or user assistance, specifically in localization and language features for enterprise software.
· Understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.
· Experience with content creation in DITA is highly desirable.
· Experience with SAP products and tools is beneficial.

The localization & language team in UA CSI is responsible for the definition, implementation, and execution of translation processes for all User Assistance content at SAP. We connect the internal DITA content management system with the internal translation infrastructure to support the translation of very high volumes of content every month by making use of automation and machine translation wherever possible.
