PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Customer Insight & Engagement Hub (CIE Hub) is part of the Cloud Lifecycle Management (CLM) organization at SAP. Our team supports the global CLM organization with customer and stakeholder engagement, as well as marketing and communication assets.

We are looking for a creative and motivated working student (intern) to join our team and assist with visual communication, marketing, and a variety of design-related tasks.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a Design Intern, you will support our internal organization at SAP with a wide range of design and visual communication activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an international environment, collaborate with global teams, and help shape the visual identity of a large-scale organization.

Specifically, you will:

• Developing and maintaining the visual identity of the organization
• Enhancing the design and structure of the internal SharePoint site
• Creating PowerPoint templates and designing presentations
• Designing infographics, charts, and visualizations
• Preparing communication and marketing materials
• Designing assets for internal and external events
• Creating visual content for blog posts and newsletters
• Building templates for PPT Presentations, Reference Stories, and One-Pagers
• Ensuring consistency and usability across different platforms and print materials
• Presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders and incorporating feedback
• Following the SAP Brand Identity Guidelines for all asset creation

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Enrolled as a student in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Passion for design and visual storytelling
• Good understanding of design principles and methodologies
• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international team
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) 

Advantage:

• Interest and/or experience in video editing and copywriting
• Familiarity with Agile development environments is a plus
