What you’ll do:
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (office attandance - at least 3 times a week)
Expected start date: September-October
Lenght of internship: 6 months
Our services are designed and implemented using cutting-edge technologies, especially Kubernetes, and are running at large scale in all major cloud provider infrastructures. With a strong focus on reusability across the HANA Database & Analytics portfolio, we are fulfilling our responsibility to provide an enterprise-ready unified data and semantics layer that ultimately enables our customers to build mission-critical, scalable, and reliable applications on top of our services.
You will have the opportunity to join an agile team responsible for managing and provisioning our service infrastructure. You will learn about the automation of landscape deployment on various hyperscalers and experience improving the availability, scalability, and reliability of our services. Our teams are empowered and self-organizing. Opportunity to participate in the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution.
What you bring:
- Student in computer science, informatics, business informatics or related areas (current student status is mandatory)
- Strong interest (experience) in Kubernetes
- Interest in surrounding deployment technologies (such as Helm and Kustomize)
- Interest or educational experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
- Strong interest in cloud-native software development and operation
- Good language skills in English

The SAP HANA Database & Analytics Common Data Services organization is a global organization dedicated to delivering data management solutions that address customers’ unique and competitive business requirements. The Common Service Infrastructure team is responsible for a set of integrated data platform and infrastructure services, which are the foundation of SAP’s major cloud offerings SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
