About the team

 

With teams in Walldorf, Paris, Sofia, London and Bangalore, we offer an open, highly collaborative and international environment for continuous learning and career development! Our team is providing services part of SAP's central CI/CD platform. The platform services stack enables SAP development units to achieve state of the art development and delivery processes in fully automated way. Continuous feedback that we receive from our customers allows us to develop better, faster and heterogeneous services.

 

In this role, you’ll:


Be part of a scrum team that is responsible for design, development and integration of CI/CD processes and tools. We define and implement core services that are heavily used by SAP software production line. In close collaboration with various development teams, we deliver mixture of products and technologies to many customers.

 

This comprises the offering of:

 

  • Continuous Integration & delivery services
  • Repository based shipment channel
  • Binary management and distribution services
  • Binary integrity services
  • Build and assembly for a broad variety of development languages used within SAP, such as Java, C, C++, .Net and mobile technology

 

Have a chance to work on innovative assignments with cutting-edge technologies. Some of the means that power our services are: AWS and GCP as IaaS, K8s as container orchestrator, GitLab and GitHub as source code repositories, Nexus and Artifactory as repository manager, Jenkins, Docker, and more.

Who you are:

 

We’re looking for someone who:

 

  • Takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious.
  • Likes to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
  • Is an university student of Computer Science, Information Systems, software engineering
  • Is Fluent (or upper intermediate) English
  • Is excellent team player, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven


Knowledge or familiarity with at least one example from each of the following categories:

 

  • Scripting in Shell, bash, python
  • Operating systems, databases, network architecture
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration or DevOps principles & tools - would be a plus
  • Experience with GitLab, GitHub - would be a plus
