What you`ll do:

On our mission to improve the developer experience at SAP, we are looking for somebody like you. We are creating a new Scrum Team in Sofia, Bulgaria, that will join other teams to develop “Hyperspace Portal”, the new entry point for 50.000 product developers and related roles at SAP.  

We are looking for a Scrum Master with a development background for an international co-located in Sofia team, consisting of an architect, Product Owner and developers, and working closely with further Scrum teams, ART engineers and Scrum Masters. We work in a SAFe environment and follow the framework. 

As a Scrum Master, you will guide and coach the team on Agile and engineering practices, foster team collaboration and best working practices, so that the team becomes highly performant and delivers high-quality products.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in our unit-wide research initiative, which allocates up to 10% of our time for research and innovation. 

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 
• At least 5 years of experience in the software industry, including time as a developer 
• 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development 
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward high-performance 
• Passion for Agile and understanding the Agile mindset 
• Awareness of trends in software development 
• Experience with Developer Portals and CI/CD is a plus 
• Knowledge of our technology stack is a plus (Angular, Go, Kubernetes) 
• Certification in Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, (SAFe) Agile Certified Practitioner) is preferred, but not mandatory 
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English 
• The ability to work in a hybrid model with availability to be present in Sofia is a must
