The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. The Service

We’re growing our Audit Log Service team, responsible for one of the most important SAP Business Technology Platform services. The service stores a record of every operation happening anywhere in any of the hundreds of thousands of applications scattered among our 25+ data centers and 10 multi-cloud regions.

Audit Log Service is a highly available and distributed solution, running on leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and using Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry. The team is working in a DevOps mode and is also responsible for the development, supportability and operability of the service.

We are looking for a Senior Developer to provide full application lifecycle & development support. We need someone who will collaborate with the team and contribute to the development of the Cloud Service deliverables. Our goal is to guarantee that our products are cloud-native, cost-efficient, and seamlessly integrated into different environments.

What you’ll do?

• Development and delivery of highly available cloud-based software, with security, compliance and performance in mind
• Learn and apply contemporary design and development techniques
• Learn modern and different technologies and languages like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Distributed Computing, and many others
• Contribute to one of the most important and widely used services in SAP Business Technology Platform

What are we looking for?

• Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Java)
• Understanding the basic IaaS services, like networking, compute unites, storage and of course security
• Experience with operating systems, especially Linux, and at least one scripting language (like Shell)
• Fast learner and Open-minded
• Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and challenging problems
• Experience in test first development and pair programming is a plus
• Experience with any public cloud providers or cloud-native environment is a plus
• English fluency is a must, and ideally you speak fluent Bulgarian too
