The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. Are you a Senior Cloud Developer with a passion for delivering well-designed products that people love to use? We are looking for a Senior Cloud Developer with experience in developing applications in Cloud environments.  

What you’ll do 

• You’ll be working closely with other internal teams, such as product management, designers, and end-users to ensure product success. 
• You help develop and maintain tools to aid the continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD) process. 
• You deliver technical excellence by designing and developing a solution or product. 
• You provide hands-on contribution for creating high-quality Cloud services and you share your expertise and knowledge with your team members. 
• You contribute to the development of new products and features, based on customers’ requirements and aiming for a wide range of use cases.  

What you bring 

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 
• You have experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and GIT. 
• Extensive experience in software engineering. 
• You understand how Cloud service providers such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Fluency both written and spoken in English,  
• Experience with at least one software programming language. 

Tech you bring 

• GoLang is a must  
• CloudNative development
• Expertise in Kubernetes and GitHub
• Agile Software Development methodologies such as Scrum; familiarity
• Python is considered advantageous. 

Tech you'll learn 

• Broad and in depth cloud knowledge (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) 
• Broad and in depth knowledge (openstack)
• Excelling and Expanding GoLang knowledge and experience Contribution to Cloud Native Development

As our customers are moving mission critical business processes and workloads into the Cloud to evolve their business, it is our obligation to always deliver our services with highest levels of reliability. We are therefore extending our DevOps team for Global Cloud Services Data Protection. The team’s mission is to define and drive reliability objectives and design smart automation to ease operation overhead. We identify service problems, reliability risks and areas for improvement by continuously assessing and measuring the reliability levels while considering issues as learning opportunities. Embedded into technology and innovation, the group will work hand in hand with development, product support, cloud operations and our customer success teams.
