The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you'll do:

SAP Database Management Systems run as foundation of business-critical applications. Our team implements new features and provides maintenance for the DBMS SAP MaxDB/liveCache and SAP HANA. As part of our team, you will maintain the SAP MaxDB/liveCache code base and provide new database functionality. You will analyse critical internal and external customer issues, find root causes, provide solution approaches. Besides coding changes, you will support the SAP Development and Technical Support colleagues to analyse and solve business-critical issues. You will participate our "on call duty" support on a regulary to ensure 24x7 smooth operations in our customer base. Since SAP MaxDB is the SAP maintenance-based DBMS offering, you will support migration projects towards modern SAP DBMS technologies. As a Senior Developer you want to work in a business-critical area and take responsibility for your deliveries. You like to work in a team.

What you bring:

You have excellent programming skills with the languages C++, Perl, Python, SQL. You have skills in developing and maintaining multithreaded environments, embedded in the operating systems Unix, Linux and Microsoft Windows Server You have experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) You are able to analyse and debug complex issues

The SAP MaxDB/liveCache team is part of the HANA Database team at SAP. The team will be extended by a group of developers located in Sofia. Our team is responsible for safeguarding the installed MaxDB/liveCache base with more than 25000 installations.
