The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. What you´ll do
You will be responsible to: 

• Develop the overall Entity Model of our CI/CD Platform to harmonize access to data from underlying platform services. 
• Develop and implement data integration strategies, including integrating data from various sources such as databases, APIs, files, and events into a unified data architecture. 
• Design scalable and efficient data architectures to support business analytics, reporting, and eventually machine learning applications. 
• Define architectural guardrails and guide implementation teams in Data Modeling and Database Design 
• Be accountable for establishing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance. 

What you bring 

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification. 
• More than 5 years of experience in the field of Software Quality. 
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to align analytic strategies on technical level 
• Good Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., HANA DB, NOSQL DB, Azure Datalake, DI, Cloud Integrator, SAC) 
• Proficiency in database design principles and data modeling techniques (ER diagrams, TAM diagrams) 
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and data integration platforms. 
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lake, data mart and data mesh concepts and architectures.

Our ambition is to modernize the inhouse CI/CD offering to delight SAP teams to develop better enterprise ready software.  

We are extending our current product management team in Germany by building a strong expert team in Sofia.
