The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. YOUR FUTURE ROLE  

We are looking for a passionate Technical Product Owner for our team in Sofia to work on exciting global topics projects. In this role you will:  

• Gain valuable insights into critical Business Processes while engaging directly with our large customer base. 

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog.  

• Align product requirements with internal stakeholders such as Product Managers  and  Engineering Leads to define priority for  the scrum team  

• Plan, execute, and review development releases and sprints in coordination with the Scrum master and team Architect  

• General coordination of Development and Dev-Ops issues in scrum meetings  

• Define comprehensive user stories and realize them together with the development team.   

• Close collaboration with other international development teams that consume our services  

• Drive and Participate in Feasibility checks, Code Reviews, Effort estimation and Technical alignments in close coordination with team architect  

• Support Product Management in driving product vision, defining roadmaps, and turning customer insights and feedback into actionable strategies and priorities.  

• Ensure that the scrum team’s backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and show what the scrum team will work on next to ensure supply-demand match with collaboration with Engineering Lead/Manager.  

• Cloud mindset, entrepreneurial drive, ability to “think out of the box”, and innovate from idea to execution  

• Play a crucial role in pioneering the integration of modern AI capabilities, actively shaping the infusion of Generative AI features right from the beginning. This is a rare opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of a groundbreaking journey. 

YOUR PROFILE 

If you are self-driven and flexible, you are a perfect fit for our team. Further role requirements are:  

• At least 2 years of experience in Technical Product Ownership or Software Architecture  

• At least 5 years of professional Software Development experience in TypeScript (Node.js) or Java  

• Knowledge in cloud-based development (using SAP Business Technology Platform, Kyma, Java, TypeScript/ Node.js, SAP Integration Suite, AWS or Azure) is an advantage  

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies  

• Good leadership, presentation and communication skills, ability to work with people with diverse backgrounds in an extraordinary international environment  

• Results driven, with an extreme drive for execution  

• Good English language skills (written and verbal)  

WORK EXPERIENCE 

• At least 6+ years of relevant experience
