The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. The Role:

We are looking for an experienced technical solution expert to join the development of our Customer Data Hub product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and backlog prioritization, combined with hands-on experience in software development, architecture, or cloud technologies.

As a technical solution expert, you will join the agile team and work closely with product managers, scrum masters, data scientists, developers, and various stakeholders. You will drive the Customer Data Hub solution improvements as well as cross-team initiatives. You play a key role in the overall team’s success and act as a team ambassador.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with stakeholders (customers, product managers, developers, and designers) to understand requirements and translate them into deliverables.

• Actively participate in software development by writing and reviewing code, implementing solutions, and supporting integration efforts.

• Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives and drive continuous improvement in Agile processes and team efficiency.

• Provide architectural guidance and contribute to system design discussions.

• Define clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

• Work with APIs, microservices, and cloud-native technologies to ensure scalability and performance.

• Implement proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for new technical solutions.

• Ensure compliance with security, AI Ethics, data protection, and regulatory standards.

• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.

• Mentor and support development team members in best coding practices and technical decision-making.

• Engage with security and legal teams to ensure compliance of SAP’s internal solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner/ Architect/ Dev Expert or similar role in Agile teams.

• Background in software development (preferably in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java).

• Hands-on experience with Business Technology Platform (BTP) and modern DevOps practices.

• Understanding of API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficiency in collaborating with various stakeholders, facilitating transparent communication, and hosting coordination meetings to advance decision-making.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, combined with a leadership mindset and the capacity to manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Excellent team player, self-motivated, and driven.
