The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you`ll do:

We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team. To ensure an easy understanding and usage of SAP’s CI/CD offerings, high-quality and easy to understand user assistance is key. We are looking for a seasoned Technical Writer with a background in software documentation, specifically experienced in pipelines and CI/CD topics. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of technical writing, be process-driven, and have outstanding communication skills. Your main task will be refining and enhancing the documentation of our internal pipeline library by taking a user-centric approach. Enhance clarity, conciseness, and effectiveness of our internal pipeline library documentation.

  • Transform our current software documentation into easily understandable, concise, and accurate content.

  • Restructure the existing content and ensure it aligns with the use-cases.

  • Create a comprehensive documentation manual incorporating examples, how-tos, FAQs, and guides.

  • Identify areas of our documentation that require additions or improvements.

  • Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to gather comprehensive information about the software products.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our products and its value offerings.

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a technical writer in the software industry, focusing on pipelines and CI/CD.

  • Proficient in creating, editing, and structuring documentation content characterized by technical terminologies.

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Excellent command over written English; should be able to adapt writing to meet users' needs.

  • Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and reader-friendly language.

  • Prior experience working in agile/SCRUM development processes is a plus.

  • Adept at working independently and as part of a virtual and remote team.
