We are looking for an excellent communicator with experience in training development and coordination to help us develop world-class learning and development courses for our community of User Assistance ( UA) professionals around world. To do this you’ll need excellent instructional design skills and a customer-first mindset to serve the UA community. You’ll be working closely with colleagues in translation, UX, Talent Acquisition, procurement, and learning as well as external vendors, so you’ll need solid networking skills to foster effective working relationships with all of our stakeholders.

 

The role:

As an experienced learning design lead, you will: 

  • Lead learning projects and work closely with subject matter experts, video team, and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
  • Storyboard learning or multimedia content.
  • Create interactive and engaging learning content, including text, audio, video, and multimedia elements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for course content developers.
  • Apply adult learning theories, principles, and best practices to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement various forms of assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of e-learning programs, and make data-driven improvements.

 

Support with vendor management

You’ll help ensure that SAP hires the best-qualified external writers who have successfully passed the SAP User Assistance Recruitment Test. This involves supporting User Assistance and Development managers, as well as product managers, in sourcing qualified external technical writers (third-party resources) for projects that can't be staffed internally.

What you bring:

  • A degree in Instructional Design, Technical Communication, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field
  • A curious and motivated attitude with the ability to identify and learn new tools and processes quickly
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English, with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary, particularly in software terminology
  • Professional experience leading learning or content projects, managing complex processes, and providing services with excellence and a focus on quality
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • A cooperative mindset to help you thrive in a dynamic team environment
  • Interest in AI and other innovative technologies
  • Experience in video production and audio editing
