The buck stops with you on all aspects of our SaaS Recruiting solution’s success.  We are looking for someone with the full package of skills and knowledge to run a product management organization responsible for a very strategic piece of our product portfolio, and a function that’s strategic for our customers that allows them to find and hire the best people.  You should have passion about Recruiting and have an interest in expanding your knowledge of the profession. Product knowledge depth, people management, design thinking, ability to enable agile scrum teams, alliance builder, and a knack for product strategy are all the skills you need to be successful.  You need to go “up” and effectively communicate and work with upper management, and go “down” and work through complex, detailed problems the team is having trouble solving. 


  • Support the growth and capabilities of managers, product managers and product strategists on your team.
  • Ensure the smooth running of scrum teams across your product area
  • Assure your team is engaged with customers to drive priorities and get detailed feedback on requirements and detailed functional specifications.
  • Review designs of significant features – you have to explain and justify what you had your team work on in the end.
  • Roadmap and Strategy owner
  • Manages internal and external product expectations
  • Support critical sales deals
  • Assure product and support escalations are handled effectively
  • Direct engagement with customers for vision and strategy, co-innovation and operational issues  
  • Breaks down Silos - Connects product team to other parts of the business when needed; Finds efficiency and consistency across products through coordination with other Product Area Leaders.
  • Your closest work colleagues will be your development and UX management counterparts – you work as a single team to make the scrum teams and products successful.
  • Dig into detail with your team when they need the support.  E.g. They may get stuck on how the system should calculate a budget based on a range of customer feedback – you need to have the ability to have an opinion and help them through it.
  • Provides input to Product Marketing on messaging. This will be easy if you’ve worked closely with customers throughout the process.


  • 10+ years of product management experience where you or your team is providing detailed functional guidance to a development team.  You need to have done the product management/Product Owner role yourself in a cloud or SaaS business.
  • 4+ years of managing product managers
  • Experience in Agile development
  • A passion for developing people and putting programs in place to support them
  • Ability to get your hands dirty and dig into detail when needed
  • Desire to know your products in detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to leadership and to customers
  • Conceptual understanding of architectures and technical constraints product managers have to deal with to make sure their designs scale and perform, don’t disrupt and are easy to uptake.
  • Domain knowledge in your product area preferred and a desire to expand it
  • Design Thinking Skills – you need the ability to solution so you can support your team that’s solutioning.
  • A knack for simplifying everything: problems, process, communications, and product designs
