(Senior) Developer (f/m/d) for SAP on Hyperscalers

What you’ll do 
As a (Senior) Developer, you are interested in modern technologies and cloud environments.
We are looking for a (Senior) Developer to join our agile and innovative team for all development tasks. You will work in SAP cloud environments like Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and SAP Converged Cloud. You should have 3+ years of experience in DevOps and software development.  You will develop new features for the platform and tools for quality measures, test automation, CI/CD, etc. Close collaboration with Hyperscaler partners is key. This includes pair programming with onsite engineers, working with dev support on open issues, and collaborating closely with partner development organizations on quality topics and new feature implementation.

Our team combines cloud innovations from SAP and our Hyperscaler partners for SAP customers and BTP developers. We contribute central infrastructure deployments to our platforms SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk) and BTP CloudFoundry, ready for use by our services and customers.

Topics such as Kubernetes, Gardener, Terraform, Bosh, Git, and Jenkins accompany you in your daily work. For our team, high software quality and test automation of the full stack are key.
Numerous BTP services depend on our integrated platform. Collaborating with other development teams, supporting our customers, and joining forces with our partners are important parts of our work. This includes reporting technical issues to partners, discussing timelines, and supporting quality initiatives. 

What you bring 

• Good to excellent degree in computer science, mathematics, natural science, engineering, or related fields
• 3+ years of cloud software development experience
• Proficiency in modern software engineering (agile software engineering, code reviews, CI/CD, etc.) 
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or Converged Cloud (CCEE)
• Experience in using Kubernetes, Gardener, Terraform, and/or BOSH as frameworks for building cloud-native applications
• Professional experience with GoLang or Python programming
• Ability to multi-task while balancing short-term and long-term requests needs is essential
• Proven problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to communicate fluently in both German and English, in written and oral form
• Strong team player
