What you`ll do
In the ECS region MEE, we are building up a dedicated team reporting to the MEE CDM leadership which will focus on leading and optimizing strategic customers’ end-to-end delivery process in a premium supplier setup and very actively drive customer, premium supplier (PS), SI partner and SAP-internal stakeholder communication (incl. C-level).
As Strategic CDM, you will be the face to our customers’ and premium supplier’s teams and guide them through the end-to-end delivery process. Having a detailed understanding of the agreements with the customer and the premium supplier while actively managing customer expectations is key to success. You will be the ECS MEE spokesperson SAP-internally for all matters regarding customers as well as the specific premium supplier delivery model. Part of the requirement is to complete all regular CDM tasks as well as actively manage the stakeholder relationships on customer as customer’s advocate. Target is also to prepare the role to scale efficiently for future customers with the same premium supplier delivery model and to identify upsell and cross sell potentials.
While you engage with the first large customer in this model, you identify, define, and operationalize a robust and solid framework to handle all standard and customer individual tasks as contractually agreed and always with a potential scaling to other customers in mind. Besides the work with customer on multiple levels, follow all related processes, you will also interact closely with your colleagues, with other ECS units (e.g. ECS partner management, CAA) and with the Premium Supplier.
What you bring
• Good understanding of SAP's private cloud business and portfolio, the RISE with SAP roles and responsibilities, and the technical and contractual framework behind RISE with SAP, S/4HANA Private Cloud, tailored option
• Strong customer orientation, communication, and presentation skills, also towards C-level, and 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles like consulting and/or delivery management, preferably experience as ECS Client Delivery Manager and / or ECS related delivery roles (TSM, PL, CAA)
• Technical background (SAP Basis, network, enterprise architecture, migrations and upgrades) is a plus
• Ability to bridge the gap between customer’s business requirements and the complex technical aspects of cloud delivery. Ensure that customer communication is meaningful and comprehensible also for non-technical audiences
• Work closely your colleagues, with partner management team and the premium supplier to ensure high delivery quality, availability, security, and swift reaction to any issues that may occur
• Ability to build, grow and maintain relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, computer science or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and German
