What you’ll do:
Summary:
We are looking for an excellent communicator with an eye for detail, strong abstraction skills, and a customer-first mindset for serving the UA community. You are good at networking with a wide variety of internal stakeholders (Translation, UX, Quality, Legal, Talent Acquisition) and fostering working relationships in a fast-evolving environment. 

The role:

As an experienced lead, you will drive the evolution of product and process standards for user assistance at SAP and provide guidance and consulting to a community of about 1,500 colleagues. You will also get to take the SAP Style Guide for Technical Communication and SAP-wide standards and guidelines to the next level, with an increasing focus on the use of new technologies such as AI. In addition, you will enable and assist managers in the recruiting of user assistance developers at SAP. With your strong linguistic expertise, you will help identify candidates who are skilled at creating high-quality and easy-to-understand user assistance. What you bring:

  • A degree in Technical Communication, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English (and ideally German), with a strong command of grammar and vocabulary, particularly in software terminology
  • Professional experience leading projects, managing complex processes, and providing services with excellence and a focus on quality
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • A cooperative mindset to help you thrive in a dynamic team environment
  • Interest in AI and other innovative technologies
