SUMMARY

SAP plays an active part in shaping a sustainable future – one in which environment, economy and society can thrive equally. We are currently looking for an experienced professional to drive the localization of SAP Responsible Design & Production (RDP), a new product in SAP’s portfolio for a Circular Economy. A key capability of this product is the management of country-specific Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) declarations, e.g. for packaging materials.

THE ROLE

(official Job Title: Senior Product Specialist)

  • Work in a very international team: SAP’s Globalization Product Management (GPM) enables SAP’s customers to run a global solution that meets their local/country specific needs
  • Define the product by synthesizing requirements, creating user stories, and prioritizing features
  • Collect and incorporate end-to-end feedback from customers and relevant stakeholders
  • Be a global contact point and trusted advisor for RDP localization, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, the GPM community, and other SAP stakeholders
  • Monitor and interpret EPR legislation and policies that impact RDP, in close collaboration with other Localization Product Managers (country representatives)
  • Partner with RDP Product Management in roadmap planning, SAP ecosystem enablement, and go-to-market activities
  • Support the development teams in the design and testing of EPR declarations
  • Engage with User Groups and actively participate in customer facing events
  • Respond to customer requests and incidents, when required, by providing domain knowledge

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, economics or natural sciences or similar areas
  • Technology or business consulting background
  • Deep knowledge of Circular Economy and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
  • Experience how to trace and interpret and describe regulatory reporting requirements in this domain as basis for software development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience with SAP solutions is a plus, especially with SAP Advanced Compliance Reporting
