What you`ll do:
Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated product expert to join our very international and diverse team - SAP’s Globalization Product Management (GPM). We proactively manage the localization of SAP’s product offerings (ERP and LoB solutions) thus enabling SAP’s customers to run global solutions according to their country-specific needs.

The Role:

As Product Manager for SAP Translation Hub you will be part of a team that shares the responsibility for SAP Translation Hub. SAP Translation Hub accelerates and streamlines translation of software and documents for SAP customers by providing AI-powered machine translation and intelligent multilingual data reuse, consumable via an intuitive user interface and workflow, a range of APIs, or existing integrations in SAP products and services. Your key responsibilities will include close collaboration with development teams on delivering value-creating features and proactively engaging with our customers, who typically have cross-national, multi-language and multi-product operations. In your capacity as Product Expert in Globalization Product Management, you will also represent and promote SAP's localization and translation strategy to both internal and external executive stakeholders.
 

What you bring:

• 5+ years experience as product manager or product owner in software industry – or a similar role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and self-driven mindset
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a multi-cultural environment, across time zone
• AI/LLM background is a plus
• Translation Industry background is a plus

Cross Product Management (CPM) is the team within GPM that manages topics that span across countries and across products. This includes customer and partner engagement, localization value proposition elaborations, external communication of regulatory changes impacting our solutions and much more.
