What You’ll do
We are looking for a passionate and experienced ABAP Development Senior / Expert (f/m/d) to strengthen the development team of the Office Vendor Integration Project with strong focus on Google Workspace Integration as announced in the press. These native integrations will allow SAP customers to connect core SAP software in the cloud with the collaborative capabilities of Google Docs, Google Sheets and other cloud services to innovate how work gets done across the enterprise. The UI Technology offerings provide the technical means for the adoption by SAP S/4HANA Cloud applications like the export of table data to Google Workspace.

As a Development Senior / Expert (f/m/d) in our team, you will be part of the development team of the Office Vendor Integration Project. You will be involved in all parts of the software design and development life cycle like architecture discussions and decisions, development, quality measures, and support.

As a member of this project, you will be part of the organization responsible for the UI technologies Web Dynpro ABAP (WDA) and Floorplan Manager (FPM). WDA and FPM are SAP standard UI technologies for developing Web applications in the ABAP environment. Web Dynpro ABAP (WDA) consists of a runtime environment and a graphical development environment with special Web Dynpro tools that are integrated in the ABAP Workbench. Floorplan Manager (FPM) is a framework for creation of User Interfaces based on Web Dynpro ABAP and offers predefined floorplans as application structure and predefined generic and reusable UI patterns for common use cases.

What You bring
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly motivated ABAP Development Senior / Expert (f/m/d) with the following skills:

• University degree in computer science or related discipline
• Excellent know-how in ABAP Objects and related development tools
• Keen perception for technical problems and a structured approach for their analysis and solution
• High flexibility and the competence to set the right priorities and work according to them in an autonomous, structured, and proactive way 
• Practical experience and high competencies in UX design 
• Good communication and team player skills 
• Fluency in oral and written German and English
• Ideally, in-depth knowledge of WDA and/or FPM

Meet Your team
The organizational unit "BTP Core UI Technologies Classic" is responsible for developing and supporting some of the most important SAP User Interface technologies such as the SAP GUI User Interface technologies and Web Dynpro ABAP.
