What You’ll Build
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students (f/m/d) with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.
Position title: Thesis Student (f/m/d) - Order and Delivery Scheduling
Location: 66386 St.Ingbert, Germany
Internship duration: 12 weeks
- In your role, you will conduct an evaluation of the challenges in software development regarding quality management in cloud development
- Through your work, you will investigate the assurance of comprehensive and cost-optimized software quality. With a focus on AI-supported testing methods, you will help the development team improve software quality beyond established manual and automated testing methods and relieve the team
- You will collaborate with a dynamic, open team of motivated employees. We have short communication channels, supporting each other promptly both on-site in the office and remotely. Regular coordination ensures a shared understanding of our tasks
- In your role, you will learn about the development cycle in software development and solve emerging challenges within an engaged team. You will be involved in creating automated tests with basic programming knowledge as well as writing and executing manual tests

- Student (f/m/d) - preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science or Business Informatics with an intended Bachelor's degree
- Basic knowledge of programming languages e.g. Java or JavaScript, fundamentals of software development and software lifecycle, and a basic understanding of quality management in software development
- Team-oriented and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges in quality management. Ability to work independently and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
- Language skills: Sound English and German skills - verbal and written
- Coming to the office in St. Ingbert three times a week is required
