Education System Integrator & Strategic Initiative Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will focus on growing education revenues through the sale of SAP Education’s portfolio of products and services to SAP’s System Integrators and Strategic Initiatives (SI&SI): such as Government funded skills development programs. This role will focus on building strong relationships with the key stakeholders within the SI&SI’s and driving the dedicated Education sales campaigns to develop pipeline through clearly understanding the SI&SI’s strategic intent, enablement and capacity requirements and aligning to Education’s key products and services including but not limited to Training (In-class and VLC), SAP Learning Hub and Live Access, Certification and Cloud Software and Education Consulting for Competency Assessment programs.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Identify and confirm the Key and Specialist System Integrators within the market to target
  • Identify and understand the key Strategic Initiatives that are incubating or developing within the market
  • Qualify and execute SI&SI sales opportunities
  • Actively support across all aspects of Sales and Delivery engagement
  • Timely and accurate SI&SI pipeline and forecast management
  • Manage the SI&SI sales pipeline on a 4Q rolling basis to ensure future targets are met
  • Maintain appropriate levels of involvement in SI&SI issues requiring resolution
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives regarding the development and use of intellectual property
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives (i.e. Communities, Mentoring, Education, etc.)
  • Harmonize decisions across multiple opinions across competing organizations
  • Be a Trusted Adviser and "Talk Business"
  • Deal with Line of Business and Executive Level stakeholders
  • Provide accurate and reliable forecasting and overall account management

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • A proven sales person who can develop and execute an account strategy to drive a consistent pipeline of opportunities and close business opportunities within the SI&SI market
  • Excellent communications skills and highly developed interpersonal skills with strong ability to work collaboratively across the organization and obtain positive visibility and credibility quickly
  • Excellent business and commercial acumen, with an ability to understand the numerous educational business drivers required to develop into a trusted SAP education advisor
  • Self-starter with strong intercultural experience and sensitivity in order to operate collaboratively and influence key stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Ability to manage multi-cultural virtual teams
  • Understanding of Bookings and Revenue requirements, preferably within the domain of Education Services
  • Problem solver, with hands-on analytical skills, who can drive change and simplification.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Over 5 years of experience working in Services/Education
  • Experience in selling end-to-end services solutions
  • Solid sales skills and knowledge
  • Has experience in working and influencing in multi-cultural environments
  • Strong business acumen
  • Team player
  • Sound and clear communication and writing skills
  • Confident in and experience in building relationships with leadership teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain long-term strategic relationships with SI&SI’s
  • Willingness to travel (25% plus)
  • Proficient in English.
  • Undergraduate qualification or equivalent is preferred.
