Purpose & Objective

 

Solution Delivery Center (SDC) is part of SAP’s Digital Business Services and operates through 19 centers Globally.  SDC is responsible to deliver SAP’s portfolio of services using Integrated delivery model (right shoring approach). SDC’s Bid & solution center (BSC) is responsible for solutioning bids for customers, working closely with Regional Solution Centers.  Objective is to adequately leverage SDC remote capabilities / services in solutioning process.  BSC assigns Solution Lead for a qualified opportunity, who is accountable for solutioning and estimation of a Bid.

 

We are looking for Bid & Solution Leads as part of BSC with proficiency in the area of S/4 HANA Logistics / Financials.     

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

 

As a Solution lead in the Bid & Solution center, you will be:

 

• Responsible for Solutioning assigned services opportunities, with high quality, within agreed SLA’s/timelines & meeting the expectations of the respective market unit, the end customer

• Should be able to make optimum use of SDC portfolio of services with a right mix of on-site, near

shore and offshore resources.

• Expected to participate on a need basis - In customer workshops from offshore to understand

customer needs & scope

• Responsible to liaise with Subject matter expert(s) from the SDC and/or the Market unit to define

scope, estimate efforts, define a schedule

.  Ensure compliance of bid process and secure required approvals as per DOA.

• Strive to continuously improve the bid quality, resulting in less iterations and higher win rate

• Build mutual trust, collaborating closely within the team to share knowledge & to leverage

complimentary skills

• Flexible in your approach & quickly be able to grasp new areas/service offerings

• Able to build effective and efficient networks across teams and be able to deliver leveraging the

same

• Actively contribute to knowledge harvesting, continuous improvement of processes

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILL SETS

 

  • 10-12 years of total consulting experience
  • 2 – 4 years of solid SAP product / solution skills with certification in the relevant area(s).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA a plus
  • Overall application/module architecture knowledge desirable to comprehend customer needs & solution appropriately
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
  • Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
  • Analytical and solution oriented thinking
  • Strong customer focus, Networking skills

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field, or equivalent work experience required. (Full Time)
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication / interpersonal abilities, needs to manage conflicting expectations from different areas.
  • Japanese : fluent
  • English : business
