The Role

The Regional Social Media Lead oversees successful day-to-day organic social media execution in the region. You work with social stakeholders to foster excellence in content planning, production and overall channel management.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the effective use of social channels to drive impact with local and global content across the Market Units in the region, keeping in mind all local languages and cultural differences
  • Oversee employee advocacy (Get Social) to grow engagement across the region with SAP social media content shared through SAP employees
  • Collaborate closely with the regional social spoc community, ensuring effective use of social channels, local moderation, overseeing local content strategies, and driving enablement
  • Manage the regional social media agency providing support with publishing and reporting
  • Monitor social media performance reports and setting clear KPIs to support each MU with performance improvements
  • Align with program marketing leads and Regional leads to ensure effective integration of social media in the Integrated Demand Programs
  • Maintain relationships as advisor to stakeholders across the region, to tell a cohesive brand story, through leading by example, driving excellence, upskilling and sharing cross-market learnings
  • Work closely together with the other Regional Social Media Leads and Global experts in the team to share cross-regional best practices and work together towards a more standardized model to execute social media in the most effective and efficient way across SAP

 

Qualifications:

  • You should be well-versed in social media platforms, and capable of crafting engaging content that resonates with our audience
  • Deep understanding of social media content and trends
  • Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content strategy
  • A track record of success as a growth-centric marketer with experience enhancing creative elements across all social platforms
  • Strong alignment with brand ethos and the ability to communicate it through a unified, consistent, and engaging voice
  • Experience with Sprinklr strongly preferred
  • Fluent communication skills in both English and Japanese
