【テクニカルサービスマネジャーとは】
SAPの主力製品であるERP（基幹）システムをクラウド上で運用することで、お客様のビジネス変革を加速するサポートを行っています。お客様はハイパースケーラーやデータセンターなどクラウドインフラを選択します。安定した基盤の上でERPシステムを活用できるよう、テクニカルサービスマネジャーは専門性を発揮します。日本だけにとどまらず海外に広がるチームメンバーと共に日々英語でコミュニケーションを行い、日本のお客様を支援します。

本インターンシップの特徴：

インターンシップ全体のスケジュール： 

前半（2026年10月～2027年3月末）

SAPでの研修や自身で策定する自己能力開発プランに基づきプロフェッショナルとして必要となる基礎学習を進めるとともに、ローテーション先でのコーチ社員のシャドーイングを通じて、SAPのお客様にとっての価値、各職種について理解を深めます。前半のインターンシップを経て、正社員への選考の機会があります。課題や面接を通じてカルチャーフィットや職種の適性を確認し、合格者は2028年4月入社に向けた内々定をオファーします。

後半（2027年4月～2028年3月、内々定者向け）

より実践的な就業体験を積むとともに入社後のトレーニングを先取りします。トレーニングでは、社会人で必要となる基礎スキル（マナー、プレゼンetc.）はもちろん、IT基礎、英語、会計基礎、最新のデジタルトレンド、各職種の専門知識などを身につけ、実践としてアウトプットする場も充実させていきます。SAPのことを理解し、グローバル企業での働き方を知る機会、自身を磨く機会となります。

応募資格

• 2028年3月に卒業予定の方。もしくは2027年秋卒予定者。
• プログラム期間中、日本で働ける方。
• 週16時間以上働ける方。大学のスケジュールに合わせた柔軟な勤務時間が可能です。
  ＊学業/学生の研究活動と両立することを最優先に設計しています。学生の学業の繁忙期に合わせて、参加ボリュームは柔軟に変更可能です。

求める人物像

• 情報、システム工学、数理、理工系など、IT関連分野を専攻していることが望ましい
• クラウドビジネスやプロジェクトマネジメントに関心があること
• チームワーカー
• 日本語が流暢であること
• 英語でのコミュニケーションスキルがあること

Our long-term internship program offers university students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a dynamic and inclusive environment, gaining real-world experience while advancing their careers. 

About Technical Service Manager
SAP accelerates and simplifies customers’ business transformation by running their SAP ERP Value stack with a world class level of availability, security & resilience on their preferred cloud infrastructure including Hyperscalers, their own data center, and the SAP data center allowing them to turn into cost-effective, agile, and resilient enterprises. We offer customers a scalable and adaptable operating model, resilient best in class technology, and assured IT governance to ensure production availability across the application and infrastructure landscape.  
With our functional and technical services customers have the same level of experience in a cloud environment as they may know from on-premise. 

STAR students will: 

• Gain real-world experience in one of the world’s top software companies
• Understand job roles by learning about customer needs for transitioning to cloud systems and participating in project meetings (including global meetings).
• Each student will be assigned a mentor or job coach who will provide continuous mentoring.
• Learn business communication using Japanese/English.
• Build a global network with SAP colleagues across globe.

Overall Internship Schedule
First Half - October 2026 to End of March 2027
Based on training at SAP and self-developed personal development plans, students will advance their foundational learning necessary to become professionals. Through shadowing coach employees at their rotation destinations, they will deepen their understanding of the value SAP provides to its customers and the various job roles.Those who wish to become full-time employees will have the opportunity to go through the selection process in January-March. Through assignments and interviews, we will confirm cultural fit and job suitability, and successful candidates will receive a preliminary offer for employment starting in April 2028.

Second Half - April 2027 to March 2028 (For those who have received a preliminary offer)
Practical work experience and pre-employment training. Training covers essential professional skills (manners, presentations, etc.), IT basics, English, accounting basics, latest digital trends, and specialized knowledge for each job role. Opportunities to apply skills in practice. Understand SAP, learn how to work in a global company, and develop oneself.

Eligibility Requirements for Applicants

• Students who will be graduating in March 2028, or in August/September 2027.
• Must be able to work in Japan during the program period.
• Ideally, can work for over 16 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours that align with your university schedule. 
  *Considerations are made to prioritize academics so that students can balance their studies and internships effectively.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Preferred to study in STEM field, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
• Strong interest in cloud business processes, private cloud and project management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Fluent in Japanese
• Good communication skill in English
