Premium Hub - Center of Expertise (CoE), which is part of Customer Success Organization, has the goal and mission to ensure optimal performance, availability and smooth operation of SAP software as well as to optimize technical and business processes

 

Summary & Role Information:

As a HANA database consultant, you will analyze SAP solutions for our Public Sector customers in Canada and present the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives. 

For this role we are looking for experienced and passionate HANA expert with excellent technical and communication skills. This role provides you opportunities to work with a variety of SAP products and technologies in all industry segments. Since we provide services at our customer sites, business travel will be an essential part of this role.

 

Experience & Role Requirements:

  • Ability to identify top issues in key account engagements, and lead analysis of system landscape, technical issues, and application operation
  • Deep technical expert knowledge into the project and capability to contribute to solution definition from the technical side for at least one technical area.  Deliver root cause analysis of complex situations
  • Experience on operationalizing the customers’ IT-strategies, identification of relevant components, approaches, input required, etc. to derive the best possible technology / operations approach for the customer combining public and private cloud as well as On Premise scenarios - challenging existing approaches/concepts, to generate a state-of-the-art and future-ready outcome
  • Lead delivery teams, take customer project responsibilities and take responsibility for the quality of delivered tasks and to be accountable for the success of the delivery
  • Builds up expert knowledge and develop support services for new products/ components and ramp-up solutions

 

Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, or Engineering (in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical, or other engineering fields)
  • Minimum Job Experience: 5-8 Years. Thereof in a relevant position at SAP: 5 Years
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of customers and management, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administrating, maintaining, and optimizing SAP HANA
  • Excellent understanding of the technical HANA architecture and platform including the technical components, deployment options, technical functionality, setup and configuration
  • Database administration and maintenance skills<span 72=""> including backup/restore, parameterization, upgrades, installations, etc
  • <span 72="">Good understanding of the High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concept of SAP systems.
