The Solutioning team in Canada provides solutioning and estimation support for SAP Services engagements and program delivery. As a strategic partner, we guide Customers, Sales, and Delivery through prescriptive, agile qualification methods to produce comprehensive, integrated solution proposals that result in success for our customers, partners, and SAP. The team acts as the unifying force behind all Services teams by analyzing, estimating and proposing the right services to implement SAP solutions and drive outcomes for each customer.
The Solution Lead is responsible for assembling the complete solution scope based on customer requirements obtained during a Service sales pursuit. They are the single point of contact for the account team, leading teams of subject matter experts to deliver full-service documentation (estimates, scope documents, proposals, customer presentations) for qualified services and support opportunities. The Solution Lead is dedicated to rationalizing our approach to ensure it delivers tangible value for the customer and is a win for all involved.

- Creates solutions that provide measurable impact on revenue and margins while delivering customer success.
- Demonstrates effective leadership, owning the solutioning process across a matrixed team to create a viable, rational proposal that delivers customer value in a timely manner.
- Drives S/4HANA & Intelligent Enterprise deployment strategies.
- Actively provides thought leadership within the Solutioning community.
- Brings end-to-end implementation, industry and solution experience to each pursuit.
- Drives SAP Services transformation strategy and policies.

- Innovation Services
- Other cloud solutions and integrations
Expectations & Tasks
Job Tasks:
- Partner with the Account Team in providing advisory, Solutioning leadership, and assistance in selling Services deals
- Construct competitive deals that provide desired customer business outcomes while achieving SAP’s margin goals
- Take definitive ownership of the Solutioning process as part of a Services Sales pursuit
- Assemble, encourage and keep a matrix team of experts accountable to deliver the expected Solutioning results per pursuit
- Execute stakeholder management, setting and continuously managing expectations throughout the Solutioning process
As part of the Solutioning process, be responsible for:
- Advisory relationship with internal and external customers
- Positioning and selling solutions in partnership with the Account Team
- Driving Solutioning and Scoping meetings with the customer
- Providing customer presentations on implementation approach, scope and estimates
- Building bridges between different parts of SAP to create one integrated solution for the customer
- Supporting the proposal approval and Bid Council process, presenting to SAP executive management as needed
- Accelerate adoption and positioning of strategic topics – e.g., bringing innovation topics like S/4HANA, Software as a Service, Intelligent Enterprise, BTP, RISE into the Opportunity & Delivery processes.
- Provide thought leadership and ownership of continuous improvement of solutioning processes and collateral
- Play an active role in the professional development of Solutioning colleagues
- Generate and own architect practice materials for Solutioning S/4 HANA

The targeted combined range for this position is 142800 - 314000(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
