Meet your team:

 

Operations Data Analyst responsible for data-related projects including coordination and development of new initiatives, providing detailed analysis and setting data goals with management to optimize performance. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing data retrieval, compilation, validation, development, presentation of cross-functional data, and for meeting reporting needs and projects to enhance operational excellence.

 

What you will do:

 

Position Title: IT Technology Services Associate

Location: Newtown Square, PA

Expected start date: July 11th, 2022 Anticipated

 

Expectations:

 

  • Working within Operations to leverage data and process analysis to improve efficiency and achieve service delivery objectives
  • Acquires data from available data sources to prepare, integrate, and maintain data structures in support of analytics, self-service reporting, and strategic data initiatives, like asset management, capacity management and validation of data accuracy
  • Data models to understand how we use systems and information in our day to day work, help establish gold source data and push it to relevant systems/applications. (data requirements are mapped, sourced, and/or queried)
  • Develop and execute standard or custom queries and/or reports as required
  • Developing new visualization reporting (i.e., building dashboards to meet business reporting needs as needed)
  • Work closely with service integration & management team to prioritize business needs and data-related initiatives; includes gathering and documenting requirements and coordinating with all team members involved in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Present recommendations for process improvement
  • Promote data management and data governance strategies and standards
  • Knowledge of data storage structures, understanding of source systems of data, and document how data flows between systems

 

Educational Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology program or business-related area
  • Demonstrates excellent data management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging current technology
  • Must have high level of proficiency in utilizing Excel, and other analytical tools
  • Experience in Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools
  • Experience in querying and connecting data
  • Experience with Service Now preferred
  • Knowledge of database design, data structure, data modeling and data integration
  • Understands and applies data methodology, security, and data governance principles
  • Skillful at applying business and technical skills to drive innovation and performance improvement
  • Exhibit a strong desire to understand the organization and its strategies and use data as insights to action
  • Has excellent organizational skills and attention to necessary detail
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates
  • Must be team player and highly collaborative individual
  • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
