About the team: 
SAP Security Engineering is a small team with big dreams. We pride ourselves to work on the latest and greatest technology that is never boring. We work on strategic projects with global impact. We test new technologies to identify appropriate application in security to make a difference in our customer experience.


What you’ll do: 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Developer, Security Engineering
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Expected start date to end date: May 3, 2021 - December 31, 2021


In this role, you’ll: 
•    Design and implement new features with strong mentorship from local team colleagues 
•    Gain experience to build, integrate, test and deploy your amazing innovations and algorithms in a global organization 
•    Assess new technology projects and tools, or maintain our environments to keep our infrastructure to the latest and greatest


Who you are: 

We’re looking for someone that is up-beat. Someone who can challenge the status quo to drive change. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are passionate to learn.

•    Current enrolment in an academic degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
•    Graduate Degree is a strong asset
•    Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
•    Be optimistic, self-motivated with a can-do attitude
•    Knowledge of programming languages: Java, React
•    Knowledge of one (or more) platforms: SAP CP, Azure, AWS
•    Knowledge of one (or more) machine learning algorithms: regression, clustering, text classification, 
•    artificial neural networks, transformers
•    Experience in one (or more) data analysis & machine learning programming: Python, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit -learn, Numpy, Pandas


•    Previous Co-op or academic experience is an asset
