SAP Concur is seeking a dynamic and innovative inside sales professional to prospect and sell directly to companies with 1 to 99 employees via the telephone, internet presentations, and through partners in a defined geographic territory. This role will be responsible for the entire sales cycle along with supporting the customer experience. The Regional Sales Executive reports to the Regional Sales Director.

In this role you will…

  • Achieve sales objectives through sales to new customers.
  • Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow up, networking, and partner relationships.
  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close.
  • Work closely with internal resources and cross-functional partners to drive events, promotions, and partnering.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Concur’s products and services.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, competitive offerings, and other business issues relevant to the position.
  • Increase opportunities through relationships with Concur partners and other third parties
  • Document daily sales activities in Salesforce, prepare accurate reports and forecasts, manage pipeline, and perform other tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management.
  • Be an active team player on the sales team, with business partners, and throughout Concur to help achieve wider company objectives.

You will bring…

  • 1-3 years of successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring net-new customers
  • Experience to selling to “C” level Executives
  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
  • A consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on persuasion & influence
  • Strong business acumen and hunter mentality
  • Excellent PC and Internet skills including: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Salesforce, and web presentation applications (Webex, Placeware, etc.)
  • Sales experience with financial/accounting applications and/or hosted software solutions is a strong plus although not a requirement
  • Ability to pass a background check
