The Training and Communications Program Manager is accountable for creating and delivering training materials to SAP Concur Global Services which directly support the Project Management Office (PMO). Training development and execution include classroom instructional materials, e-learning, and product demonstrations and simulations, custom client content, guides, toolkits, and other related materials.  The position requires skill in collaborating with other members of the digital content team, stakeholders in business units, and other functional teams.   This individual is also responsible for managing the internal communications program and Executive communications with attention to Executive presentations, announcements, and messages.




  • Deliver instructor-led classroom and virtual training programs to Global Services end-users.
  • Work with a wide array of learning and eAuthorware tools including (but not limited to), Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, Storyline, etc. to create and maintain training deliverables.
  • Participate in Program Manager meetings to ensure all training materials reflect stakeholder vision, timing, ideas.
  • Apply adult-learning best practices and methodology on courseware designed and delivered.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and Executive Sponsors to collectively deliver effective change management and drive adoption of the delivered product.
  • Work cross-functionally with Professional Services, Technical Writers, and Development to create accurate documentation and manuals of training material.
  • Edit instructional, informational and communication materials for content accuracy, training efficacy, and language professionalism.
  • Write, review and edit internal communication content on topics such as organizational announcements, employee recognition, and strategic business updates.
  • Provide cross-functional guidance to Program Administration team to deliver and improve internal communications.  
  • Partner with Services Innovation to establish guidelines and train colleagues on requesting communication updates.
  • Tailor SAP Concur-All communications for the Global Services team, as necessary.
  • Execute against the communication plan for SAP Concur’s Global Services organization by enhancing internal employee communication via our web-based tool.  Emphasize informing, connecting, enhancing our culture all with dynamic interaction to attract teams to our tool.
  • Plan and prepare for Global Services meetings by partnering with select leaders to establish content delivery, providing clear direction and follow-up with colleagues.
  • Prepare and present strategic speaking engagement materials such as briefing documents, speech outlines, slides, video scripts, etc.
  • Plan, budget, oversee all communication projects providing deliverables and updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Documentation & Executive Communications Program Manager to provide consistent and cohesive messages.




Education, Experience & Training required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent: Communication and Journalism, Marketing, Business
  • 3+ years of communication experience in Journalism, Internal Communication, or Marketing Communication
  • Previous work experience in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Experience with technology and other methods used in documentation, communication and project management
  • Experience in e-learning course design and development, specifically with Storyline 360 and Captivate
