Technical Program Manager

The Technical Program Manager will drive Key Quality and SDLC-related Initiatives across Concur Product Areas.

 

Core tasks include but not limited to: 

  • Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending.  Monitors the project from initiation through delivery
  • Providing regular project and status updates. 
  • Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional or cross-country projects.
  • 6+ years of Software Development/Test experience and 5+ years of demonstrated project and program management experience in managing large initiatives. 
  • Deep technical understanding of end-to-end SDLC and release.
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies
  • Attention to detail and willingness to dive into technical details
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to drive initiatives across organizations
  • Driving meetings with a large number of attendees, complex topics, and driving the group to effective conclusions. 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) and Scrum certifications are a plus

 
 Additional Experience / Nice to haves:

  • Experience with cloud computing especially Amazon, Google Cloud, etc.
  •  Experience supporting new and innovative technologies.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple, disparate activities at once.
  • Prior Release management experience a plus.
