The Business Development Expert (f/m/d) "SAP SuccessFactors/HCM Cloud" (HR Evangelist) supports the business development activities and is accountable to drive pipeline growth (4 Rolling Quarter) by developing, planning and executing business development programs across Industries and Market Units with a focus on dedicated customers / accounts in close alignment with global and local SuccessFactors marketing and demand generation teams, with a focus on the MEE Region.
In close collaboration with the SAP SuccessFactors (SAP SF) MEE Sales Head, the Business Development Expert will focus on Account based Demand Generation activities to drive Big Tickets at selected customers. Further on the role will act as a trusted advisor regarding HR Transformation for customers which are in the selection phase. Finally, the role supports the Head of CoE People Engagement SAP SF MEE to build a strategy and execute on it to achieve a high visibility and high acceptance of SAP SF internally and externally and create a perception, which enables the sales force to further increase the win and conversion rate.

  • Drive the execution of growth plans for SAP SuccessFactors/HCM Cloud
  • Establish relationship as well as trust with HR Departments by taking advantage of a profound existing personal HR / CHRO Network
  • Enable new revenue streams, pipeline growth and customer satisfaction with a focus on pre-selected customers
  • Define our competitive advantage and establish the key reasons for customers and prospects to leverage SAP SuccessFactors/HCM Cloud solutions to achieve strategic business objectives
  • Ensure new deals and revenue programs can be commercialized and are executable
  • Develop creative, workable alternatives to enable opportunities
  • Analyze strength, weaknesses and white spaces for the SAP SuccessFactors portfolio
  • Educate the customer in understanding the end-to-end digitization strategy of SAP SuccessFactors and the value of the Digital Business Platform
  • Create and nurture long term related relationships on all levels of the customer organization and build a strong network with its’ peers in other regions and the global SAP SuccessFactors organization to provide and adopt best practices


  • Successful completion of Bachelor or University degree
  • Strong experience in Business Development activities, Strategy Development and Execution
  • Solid experience how the HR businesses works and extensive HR Know-how (processes, practices, trends, competition)
  • Ability to deliver the topic "Digital Transformation" to the customer easily and understandable on different levels – especially on the board level
  • Experience in executing an End-to-End HR Transformation or comparable projects
  • Experience in program planning and evaluating new business development opportunities
  • Experience in HR transformation projects and ability to speak authentically with customers at C-level
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills in German and English


  • 10+ years professional work experience in the HR Line of Business, with practical HR experience is a must
  • Experience in implementing SuccessFactors is a plus
