SAP Integration Suite, a key technology of SAP Business Technology Platform, is SAP’s default integration solution. It provides a full range of application, data, process, and business integration capabilities. With more than 10,000 customers we are one of the most successful cloud services at SAP. We develop and operate a highly scalable cloud service based on a modern cloud architecture which is deployed on various Hyperscalers.

 

THE ROLE
We are looking for a developer / associate developer to strengthen the Eclipse Dataspace Connector project. The Eclipse Dataspace Connector is a framework for sovereign, inter-organizational data exchange along the automotive value chain. Integrated into the Catena-X initiative it will help to develop a business network for uniform data-exchange in the automotive industry.
As part of a technology-focused cross-unit project team you will implement the Eclipse Dataspace Connector as a new capability of the SAP Integration Suite. You will be responsible to design and program product features by following agile development practices, implement innovative prototypes and validate them with lighthouse customers, conduct product definition and architecture work, and contribute to company strategic open-source projects. You will work in a startup-like atmosphere helping to evolve our integration technology for decentralized business networks.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Required skills:

  • Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • 0 - 3 years of experience in software development
  • Programming skills in Java and Web technologies like SAP UI5, HTML5, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of microservice architectures and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in cloud-native and open-source development practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset
  • Ability to adapt fast to changing technologies and frameworks
  • Passionate to cloud engineering 
  • Fluent in German and English
